Is this Marine Omega okay for kids?
Yes, Marine Omega is safe for children at smaller doses than adults. It is recommened that a child take one gel tab morning and evening while adults are to take 2-3 morning and evening. The only problem you might have is having a smaller child swollow the gel tabs. Gel tabs are the best form for digestion as the geletan coating disolves faster in our stomach. For a child you can poke a hole in the gel tab (use a clean pin) and squeeze the oil onto a spoon if needed.

Is Marine Omega Kosher ?
While the oil in the gel tabs is completely kosher the outside coating is made up of a gelatine based product. Gelatine does contain animal products though in very small quantities. In order to avoid the coating you can poke a small hole in the outside skin (use a clean pin) and squeeze the oil onto a spoon. The oil inside is completely kosher.

Is Marine Omega okay to take during pregnancy?
Yes. In fact research is showing that when babies are developing during the last trimester, the brain and nervous system begins accumulating DHA (Omega 3). DHA is critical for building brain tissue, for nerve growth and for the retina in the eye. Before birth, babies get their DHA from their mother. After birth they get it from Breast milk. So all mothers-to-be should be on an Omega 3 supplement. Consult with your Doctor about dosage.

How does Marine Omega come?
Marine Omega comes in the form of a gel tab. This is the best form as our bodies easily digest the gelatine coating.

What is the recommended dosage?
We recommend 2 gel tabs in the morning and two in the evening. For those with
more serious health concerns you can take up to 4 gel tabs morning and evening with no harmful side effects.

What’s the daily allowance for omega three fatty acids? Is 1000mg of omega three fatty acids okay per day?
Scientists and Health Care Professionals all agree that 500- 1000mg of Omega three fatty acids as EPA and DHA can be consumed daily with no side effects. What you should do is take half in the morning and the half in the evening so your body can absorb and use it all equally throughout the day.

How long does it take omega 3 to work?
Do you know that people react to nutrition in different ways? Some people notice a difference in the first week. Other people notice a difference after a month or two. You really shouldn’t base whether a product is working or not on how you feel a few days after you start taking it. It’s a fact that it takes your body anywhere from 4-6 weeks to properly take in, store and make use of anything you give it, good or bad. You have to remember too that when taking supplements you’re not looking at curing anything. What your doing is giving your body the correct nutrition it needs so it can heal itself from any sickness’ or diseases and then it is able to protect itself against future problems. This process is going to be different for everyone and it really depends on how healthy they are to start with. The main thing is to start now for maximum benefits.

What’s the difference between expensive Omega3 fish oils and cheaper brands?
I bet you’ve often wondered this same question. The difference in cost between a cheaper brand and a more expensive brand is that the cheaper Omegas do not bother to filter out the toxins, and fish oil is loaded with mercury and heavy metals that are toxic to our bodies if they are not filtered out. They also do not have consistent tests that make sure the product is safe for you. The closer you can get to the beginning of the food chain (For example, Fish krill oil) the less likelihood there is for a build up of the toxins. By discounting prices they are unfortunately discounting quality and endangering your health.
